Our Welding and Fabrication trainees at Machakos Town Technical and Vocational College (MTTVC) are putting their skills to excellent use by taking on real-world projects right here on campus! As part of their Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) program, they are gaining hands-on experience by fabricating and installing essential college infrastructure.
Their current projects include the new college gate, durable metal store shelves, and strong steel doors and windows for the masonry shed. This approach to training ensures our students not only learn by doing but also deliver practical solutions that benefit the entire institution. This is skill development with purpose—building confidence, careers, and the future, one weld at a time!
