Machakos Town Technical and Vocational College (MTTVC) is inviting applications from eligible and capable firms for registration to supply goods, services, and consultancy for the financial year 2024-2025. This registration process is aimed at updating our list of suppliers, contractors, and consultants to ensure quality and timely service delivery.
Categories of Registration
Category A: Reserved for Youth, Women, and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)
Specific tenders are reserved for youth, women, and PWDs, including:
- Supply of electronic materials and equipment
- Supply of cutlery, utensils, kitchen appliances, and more
- Provision of printing, binding, and other services
Category B: Goods Supply (Open)
Open to all eligible suppliers, this category includes:
- Supply of sports uniforms, beauty therapy equipment, library textbooks, furniture, building materials, hardware, and more.
Category C: Provision of Services (Open)
This open category includes tenders for:
- Installation, repairs, and maintenance of IT systems
- Consultancy and training services, internet and website development, asset tagging, etc.
Registration Guidelines
- Eligibility Requirements
All prospective bidders must meet specific eligibility criteria, including relevant registration documents. Youth, women, and PWD applicants must provide AGPO certificates and registration documents. - Application Process
- Obtain tender documents from the MTTVC Procurement Office upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs 1,000.
- Submit completed pre-qualification documents in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the reference code and tender description to:

- Evaluation and Selection
Only firms that meet the minimum threshold for qualifications will be considered for the supply and service opportunities. For open categories, bidders are required to score at least 70% of the total rating to be considered. - Reserved Category Special Considerations
Reserved for Youth, Women, and Persons with Disabilities, this category ensures inclusivity in procurement. Special groups must submit relevant certifications, and canvassing is strictly prohibited.
