Agricultural Extension trainees from our Agriculture and Environmental Studies Department at Machakos Town Technical and Vocational College (MTTVC) have been busy putting their skills into action! In an exciting hands-on session, they engaged in practical demonstrations on Processing of Farm Produce.
The demonstrations included the processing of fruits into juice, batching, and milk pasteurization, providing the trainees with valuable insights into value addition in agriculture. These practical skills are essential for trainees to thrive in the job market and start profitable self-employment ventures.
Through this training, our trainees are not only equipped with technical skills but also the knowledge needed to transform raw produce into high-value products, ensuring they contribute to food security and sustainable agriculture practices. 🌾🍊🥛
