Machakos Town TVC trainees recently took part in an important sensitization and orientation session covering several key areas, including Modularized Curricular Assessments, Dual TVET Training, and the dangers of Drug and Substance Abuse. New trainees also received a full induction on the college’s programs.
The event was also a moment to celebrate some of our most outstanding trainees. We proudly recognized those who excelled in entertainment and those who showed mastery in CBET Assessments, like Kelvin. We also celebrated National Athletics champion Daniel Muema, and Purity Muthoki, who is set to travel to Ireland for the “Mkulima Majuu” jobs program this July.
A powerful highlight of the day was the emotional testimony from Felix, a former banker and MCA aspirant who is now a rehabilitated former substance abuser. His personal story deeply moved the trainees, who in turn vowed to stay away from drugs and substance abuse.
