It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that the Machakos Town Technical and Vocational College fraternity announces the passing of one of our own, Josphat Kioko Agnes. Josphat passed away after a short illness while undergoing treatment in Athi River under the devoted care of his parents.
At the time of his passing, Josphat was a dedicated trainee in our Hospitality Department, where he was pursuing Food and Beverage Operations – Level 5.

Josphat was widely recognized by both his trainers and peers as an exceptional and disciplined individual. His commitment to his craft was most evident during practical sessions, where he consistently demonstrated the professionalism, passion, and precision that define the MTTVC standard. He didn’t just study hospitality; he lived it, showing a remarkable desire to excel in every task he undertook.

Beyond the classrooms and workshops, Josphat’s vibrant energy shined on the sports field. As a gifted and talented sportsman, he proudly represented the college as a key member of the Machakos Town TVC Soccer Team.
His determination, teamwork, and impeccable sportsmanship were vital during the Northern Region Ball Games Competitions, where he played with a heart that brought immense pride to our institution. His contributions to college sports have left a lasting impression that will be felt for seasons to come.
