To commemorate World Environmental Education Day, staff and trainees at Machakos Town Technical and Vocational College (MTTVC) took part in a tree planting exercise within the college grounds. Various tree species were planted as part of the institution’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
This year’s theme, “Empowering the Next Generation for a Sustainable Future,” aligns with MTTVC’s mission of equipping trainees with technical skills while fostering environmental consciousness.
The event was supported by key environmental organizations, including:
